@hinton I’ve skimmed it ;) Shoshana (who coined the term) and I differ on our exact definition of it (I don’t see it as a corruption of capitalism but as the natural evolution of it). The main problem, as far as I’m concerned is capitalism. Surveillance Capitalism is a useful way of identifying an element of it that is unique to the digital network era (maybe even not that: surveillance in other forms has always been part of capitalism to some degree.)
