I do agree with #DayAgainstDRM but you must admit streaming services wouldn't work without it:

- remember when most people stopped paying for cable TV after having videotaped everything they would ever want to watch from it? Without DRM, it'd clearly happen again.

- ... also, without it, people could illegally share this content with others. Imagine if there were sites on the internet where you could download movies without paying! Who would pay for streaming in such a dystopia???

@ssafar those illegal websites already exist. If you want to, you can download pretty much any movie in existence. Most people do not, because they are quality people. I like buying physical copies of my media since I can easily bypass the DRM. But I do not distribute it to others.
