Nerdy Day Trips is a nice web site. I heard about it, its relaunch, on latest pod episode of Linux Matters.
It's about nerdy places to visit around the globe. It is based on tips by all and anyone.
At the relaunch, it has changed to Open Street Map (instead of Google) and built with Hugo as a static web site. More nerdy technical details in the pod episode.
