It’s also fascinating to discover a whole new part/community of the #fediverse. When I first moved here, I got started in the technology bubble, slowly adding climate, followed by science in general, and, leading up to the US election, politics.
And now photography.
It’s all here. But it perhaps takes a more effort to discover your peers on Fediverse compared to other platforms.
And it’s cool how the different parts of #fediverse intertwine: From my #pixelfed instance, with its UX focused on photos, I can follow accounts from #mastodon, but filter out everything those accounts post that’s not an image.
