Is "wheeltop" a good term for a car nowadays?
Modern cars are a connected computer(s) on wheels.

Absolutely! My little Mazda does have a computer controlling the fuel/air mixture, and the timing, and it does have tire pressure sensors but they are only hooked up to dummy lights, and it has two tripset odometers. That's all the bells and whistles it has (besides speedometer, odometer, tachometer).

My 2014 Mazda 2 is a car with computer support, not a computer with wheel support.
