Was just remembering Minitel. The internet before there was an internet. Made in France. A friend of mine had one of these. Back in 1985.

@JoBlakely I remember as well. And all hotels etc etc had Minitel contact info in ads. France was very modern with this. Minitel (cannot recall but another name I think) was actually also launched at least here in Sweden also, but long after and I think it was when internet also for private persons had started, so too late to become a success in Sweden. But great when it came in France.
