I've been running out of memory on my Linux PC frequently, and I only have 16 GBs of memory. Thank goodness swap is a thing, but it can be a bit of a pain. I've already had my system lock up a few times from too much memory that swap couldn't handle in time. I really should upgrade my RAM. I think 64 GBs should be enough. My motherboard won't go any higher than that anyway.
