I haven't tried CalyxOS, but if I remember correctly @zaivala has. I use /e/OS nowadays, Volla is also on my radar as one potential future candidate (their phone+VollaOS+UbuntuTouch and more). e.foundation/

I still run CalyxOS on my Pixel 3aXL. It is not my primary phone these days but it still runs. Unless you have a Pixel or a few models of Xiaomi or a Fairphone 4, you can't run it.
