These are secure machines, with Libreboot (based on coreboot) which replaces proprietary BIOS/UEFI firmware.
Your choice of Linux distro, OpenBSD or FreeBSD - if no request is made, I default to providing Debian Linux.
Full disk encryption by default, for all orders.
@libreleah Libreboot was actually new knowledge to me, that it can be possible to replace BIOS/UEFI. Always more to learn!
@PublicLewdness @libreleah I'll see if I dare to go down there one day... It's also fascinating and fantastics that so much FOSS alternatives exist in so many sw application areas.
Having a more FOSS BIOS is a great thing in many ways although I will say it is a rabbit hole that when you go down it you realize just how invasive most modern hardware is.
