@renita I read your thought. I am not sure what I think. But firstly, if you will so, you have the right to feel so and it is true. I also believe it can be correct observation and opinion and the analogy to immigrants. I think one reason for complain and misunderstandings might be Mastodon is many instances, and each of them can differ in code of conduct, praxis etc that also those complaining are not aware of. Also set of tools differ between instances. (OG means?)

“OG” is a colloquial term for “original”. (Back in the day it originated from the term “original gangster”…but that’s not to be taken literally in current context, as it’s culturally just used to mean “old school”)
