Not sure why but seems to now need a 10.0.0.1 network while moving modems. my 192.168.0.X did not work, but sprang to life the moment the LAN was switched.

@hamner are they still running rogue wireless APs on equipment installed in customer homes? maybe they've co-opted some private IP subnets for that, and it's confusing their router (assuming you are using their router... you might outta consider using your own if you can)

@craftyguy This was my own router/modem. It worked fine for years using 192.168 but when I moved I was forced to update my LAN settings.
