There's a brand new version of #VivaldiBrowser out there if you haven't already tried it. There's an updated UI and a new dashboard to customize. Also, not a drop of AI in sight.
@mike I don't understand some of the antagonism against AI -- ML-based human language translators are nice for example. Though that's not technically "AI", is it.
Does Firefox's page translation feature use ML? They used the word "model" https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/features/translate/
@mike My college upgraded ("upgraded" π) their computers to Windows 11, and I remember seeing some sort of session token or something in the About window for Microsoft Paint, I think for AI....
I don't know what someone's doing with Notepad if it needs AI π that seems more like something you might want with Word.
@mike My philosophy is that the user does the thinking and the computer does the computing. The user is the intelligence, and the computer is the calculator.
I personally avoid AI, since if I'm doing what I do correctly it doesn't have much to offer me.
