I don't know how it's like in other regions, but the absolute shit state of Smash Online in Latin American is fucking abysmal. People play only one game and then leave, and most often than not, they're just playing to cheese.

@iispabs This would be a desperate move but if you find a proxy (or a VPN if you have to) that isn't too far away from where you are, you could probably connect your Switch to it and get matched up with different people. Only if added lag is better than annoying games ofc

@golemwire Thanks for the suggestion! I’d have to look into it, because I haven’t got the slightest idea of how to set that up, tho.

@iispabs Cool. I think the Switch has proxy settings; IDK if it works with a VPN.
(BTW you can DM @golemwire (fosstodon.org) over the summer if you're looking for a game. I solo main Sheik and I'm not much better than a Lvl 9 CPU though lol)

@golemwire@librem.one @golemwire@fosstodon.org That'd be great, I will most definitely do it, then. I'd love to practice the Sheik MU. So, just to be clear, your summer would be around July lol? I'm assuming you're in the northern hemisphere :P
