Me (aside to coworker): Why were we surprised by socks?
Him: Socks?
Me: Yea, socks. That's what she just said.
Him: OOOHH!! SOX!!
Me: ... OOOOOHHHH.... 😳

Yep, I'm the idiot who thought for a moment that our executive was talking about socks during a departmental meeting.
