I think I'll start #journaling for myself, besides my blog posts. Maybe some of those random writings will end up better structured in there tho

Paper and a nice pen can't be beat.
I also have a journal shell script that does a couple neat things with markdown headers and hashtag collecting, but I use paper 95% of the time.
@RL_Dane @joel Since this means you're typing directly into ts, only Backspace, Ctrl+W (delete 1 word), and Ctrl+U (delete whole line) can be used for editing I think. This adds an effect in the spirit of pen and paper, where your words are harder to correct and so mean more as they come out.
