I was getting up the gumption to totally re-vitalize my #3DPrinter a couple weeks back (to the point of watching hours of YT videos on the subject), and now I've already forgotten about it for the next hobby.
Nope, no #ADD, here. Uh-uh!
@RL_Dane I'm like that too :(
@RL_Dane That's the main reason why I use GNOME. Its (over-)simplicity is helpful with focus, as they advertise.
Being an Ubuntu user using GNOME and basic tools, one would think I'm the simpler type of Linux user. Currently I pretty much am, but I used to try many distributions, desktops, window managers, browsers, etc. But maybe someday I'll go back to Arch Linux with sway and my configuration of it.
@golemwire
I can see the appeal of a simple and there's-one-way-to-do-it desktop. But I've found that I more often rail against things I cannot change that get in the way than just enjoy the conscious limitation of the paradox of choice.
I've actually found i3wm to be a great middle: *quite* configurable, but not so configurable that I spend hours twiddling with it like #KDE #Plasma ^___^
I think I'll never go back to KDE though, it is like impossible for me to focus while using it, I always go config crazy

@golemwire
Yeah, using Plasma reminded me of my very early Mac days: constantly twiddling 😅
