Same as it ever was? Same as it ever was.

@zombierustpunk It seems like it's no longer fashionable to trash-talk millenials, but every time I read or heard it over the last few years I thought about what they used to say about Gen X.

We were, supposedly, nothing but a bunch of slackers who didn't have any interest in work.

It was sad to see so many peoe my age fall for the same stupid trick against the next generation.

@trainingmontage what really gets me are the boomer comedians who used to make fun of the Reagan-era “moral majority” for being so uptight, and now they’re on tour selling out stadium shows fretting about how they’re “cancelled” because some 14-year-old called them a bigot on twitter.

@zombierustpunk I've been completely amazed at the old punks who turned out to be moderate or completely reactionary.

@trainingmontage Yeah. For every Billy Bragg, there’s a Johnny Rotten, unfortunately.

@zombierustpunk @trainingmontage
I have long felt like Lydon was a fake, and the Pistols were manufactured outrage for the masses.
