@mattblaze Didn’t see your prior toot, though I wanted to comment that there is a precedent on mastadon, culture wise, of people hiding topics behind content warnings
I doubt this will be the last of these kinds of interactions, as the exodus from twitter will bring more people unaware of the history.
Given I’m also new to all of this, just wanted to give context to what you saw on your previous post

Matt knows, and he's (justifiably, IMO) pushing back, as adopting the practice would basically silence him. I'm responding, because I imagine he's exhausted at telling ppl he already knows about CW "norms", and that those norms lack nuance.
