Chick-fil-A's growth rocketed by Christian supporters who strongly backed them when they were attacked for standing by their Christian values.

Since their founder has died, they have now done a "180" and betrayed those same Christians.

Please stop supporting them. Do not just support them less... do not support them at all. They are simply not the company they once were, far from it. Yes, it is sad, but that company is gone.

@George Tragic what they have done. Maybe disgusting is a better word.

@rmaffeo It is not that they are now different then the other chicken peddlers, but rather a betrayal of the very people who made them so successful. The founder's son has chosen greed over faith. As the saying goes - they are dead to me.

It's interesting, but I still like their chicken and their employees. And they're still closed on Sundays allowing their employees to go to church services.

@everlastingrocks @rmaffeo
I feel sorry for their employees. They were let-down too. Expect them to phase-in Sunday hours.

My past patronage was based on several things, but #1 was their boldly lived Christian faith in the face of deeply misguided culture. That culture has now been affirmed and their faith replaced by a shallow veneer. If I continued to buy their food, I would be saying their change of direction is not important to me.
