Just got back from @kde's #blueFriday and I must say, everything there is so cheap 
I got the Plasma desktop environment for free forever and I'm free to tweak it and modify it, it also doesn't spy on me
I got kdenlive, a professional-grade video editor also for free
I also got some games like Blinken and they're all incredibly fun
wait... they were always free

@catacosmosis @bruvik @ninawildflower I absolutely agree. He never was a member of the NSDAP, either. But from all the sources I have, he did not use his machine against the Nazis. He also got paid for the calculating machine, AKA computer (200.000 Reichsmark).
So, all in all, the Computer was not invented to combat the Nazis, however, many advances in Computer Science and Cryptography were indeed the result of the fight against the Nazis, as for example the ones by Alan Turing.

Jeder trottet vor sich hin und probiert, nichts von der Außenwelt mitzubekommen.

Seven years ago, a fellow named "MIDI_MAN" compiled 130,000 unique MIDI files by browsing a ton of sites, placing them into directories, and generally assembling years of MIDI music.
Now that collection (1gb compressed, 3.5gb uncompressed, 130,000 files for real!) is at the Internet Archive at this URL:
