But I've since learned how to make something not jack-of-all-trades and to be light and zippy for dedicated use cases.
"Ferret" was born. It's perfect for quick manual mining runs while I work on a proper mining ship.
So the fleet has begun in earnest...
There were #Apollo program reminiscent incidents during initial design and flight tests...
The first shot for the moon failed and I fell back to earth sideways because of the gravity.
My first ship is so derpy! I didn't know anything yet and over-engineered it, but it's a genuine lifeboat capable of anything and everything. I can survive for 20 days in space with it haha!
2x O2/H2 generators for H2 tank and cockpit.
4x batteries.
Too many atmos engines because it heavy.
Too many H2 engines because it heavy.
Cargo box for the ice conversion.
2x H2 to Electricity generators for the batteries.
Since it's so derpy, I named it DERP of course!
I've become hooked on #SpaceEngineers and got a dedicated server going. I started a base on Earth, my first ship made it to the moon to visit a friend who started a base there, and then I flew home.
His base is more advanced now with the help I provided, but I'm back home and building up my own! Made a fun walkway up a mountain to my windmill farm recently. They were below and too close to my base making it too difficult to park and take-off with my now 2 ships.

@britt I visited your list, added a game from the list to my shopping cart, selected buy as a gift, but then how do I gift it to you? Steam asks for a friend name or account number. I can't seem to buy a gift for someone not already in my friends list?
Should we encourage people to expand their friend lists first?

For thousands of years, fermenting beer was considered a household task for #women.
By the Middle Ages, some sold beer at English markets. Female brewers wore tall, pointy hats to be easily spotted. They stood by cauldrons & often had cats to keep mice away.
Sound familiar? It should.
You see, when male brewers felt threatened by their success, they accused the women of witchcraft. These rumors may have led to some witch iconography we still recognize today.
