@BunnyBismuth I'm not so sure about the "little money". I'd like to get Shining Force I or II CIB and it's way outside my budget ($160-$300 USD).

I also had to shop around a lot to get Robocop vs Terminator CIB for less than $75 CAD. Found a local store selling it for $35 CAD and jumped. Phew!

I’ve adopted a new family of #retrogaming goodness in my collection: #SEGA #Genesis.

I missed the cartridge gaming of mid 1980s through 1990s, and after a lot of game tryouts in emulation, I kept coming back to Genesis titles as favourites. 🥰

So I decided that this would be the original console and games to collect from that period. I don’t plan on having a lot of games, just enough to cover some genres and play my favourites.

But of course, a first response should be about the money burden you pose in existing. Someone in business with private interests has to compare you to dollars and decide if your life should be continued:

When #COVID19 destroys your lungs beyond repair, just maybe, the last chance at survival is a transplant.

To have to go to that level of chance and extremes says something about the virus and this pandemic: it’s serious shit capable of serious permanent repercussions for many. Let none doubt its threat to human life.

@Pleasant_Pete Privacy Badger browser plugin. Disable location tracking from the camera app through everything else in cell phone. Turn off cell phone when not needing to receive or make calls. Use your computer from a Live Linux disk like DVD or USB, and only keep personal data on an external removable encrypted external storage.

Or harder: Not use cloud services, game console games, content services nor mobile phones.

It all depends on what conveniences you’re willing to give up.
