@kinsale42 Hello Hanzo who won't switch! 😉 I tend to play Mercy and Brigitte...with zeal. 😤

@britt

Requiem

Destiny and Overwatch are my regular breathing, and the new Plague game is incredible.

Special mention: I’ve also had a blast in 7 Days to Die and this year.

@britt Génial! Ce n'est pas une langue facile d'apprendre. :D

De mon côté, j'étudie le japonais (casually, mind you.)

@britt I visited your list, added a game from the list to my shopping cart, selected buy as a gift, but then how do I gift it to you? Steam asks for a friend name or account number. I can't seem to buy a gift for someone not already in my friends list?

Should we encourage people to expand their friend lists first?

Let’s do something really cool on #Mastodon to celebrate the #holidays.

Post your #Steam Wish List below! You never know who may want to spread some good cheer around these parts. 🎅 🎁 ❄️

Boosts are welcome and appreciated! :boost_ok:

@britt That was it! I had the profile public but the games list as friends only. Set that to public and then the url to the wishlist works. Thanks for the help! <3

@britt Ooooh no sorry! I see my wishlist in the PC app but don't see a way to share it. I can right click my profile picture to copy url to page, but when I test it in a browser, the list is empty.

That's where I'm at so far.

I don't like Elon, won't use the bird site and won't buy Tesla anything (stock, car etc.)

But the Tesla stock doesn't necessarily show direct correlation. It's also following 2022 trends.

Much of the tech market tanked in 2022:

Spotify: -158,67 (-67,05 %)
Apple: -44,05 (-24,99 %)
Alphabet: -59,16 (-40,27 %)
Microsoft: -96,50 (-28,83 %)
AMD: -82,28 (-56,30 %)
Amazon: -87,28 (-51,02 %)

Nasdaq composite:
-5 177,25 (-33,07 %)

Tech ETFs too.

For thousands of years, fermenting beer was considered a household task for #women.

By the Middle Ages, some sold beer at English markets. Female brewers wore tall, pointy hats to be easily spotted. They stood by cauldrons & often had cats to keep mice away.

Sound familiar? It should.

You see, when male brewers felt threatened by their success, they accused the women of witchcraft. These rumors may have led to some witch iconography we still recognize today.

@pixiecata

I’d kill to have one of these.

Just tell me who.

(Completely kidding! Great writing foible!)

finally puts this year’s beach demon baby to rest, in epic comedic fashion:

I was able to reserve a table at a restaurant online today, instead of on the phone, and thank the gods it's for things like this that web software exists. <3

This is your year non-trans folks. This is the year

to be the one to call out grandma for misgendering your non-binary cousin,

to call out how fucked up your uncles transphobic jokes are, or

to tell your mom that her excuses for deadnaming someone aren’t good enough.

It’s time to make this your problem. How are you going to stand up for trans people this holiday?

The faces in office Christmas party photos posted on LinkedIn keep getting younger.

What's up with that?
