"It’s no secret that #podcasting is having a moment similar to #blogs 20 years ago, regarding ubiquity, opportunity, and influence.

Instead of picturing a world where we’re all stuck in information silos on a steady diet of groupthink, we could picture one with a diverse set of easily findable worldviews from thought leaders, experts, and aspiring pundits of all kinds.

We’re seeing it happen now, just like we did then…

@josemurilo sadly, many podcasts have moved inside a walled garden (called "spottiffy" or something similar) where a single company owns them and only those who have an account there are allowed to listen to those podcasts. Apparently, too many people don't see the problem with that because "everyone" already has an account there. 😠

(I don't have an account there, I'm not included in the "everyone" group when it comes to this kind of things. It's a special kind of "everyone".)
