I found this big caterpillar (or centipede?) crawling around in a football field. Never seen anything like it before.

@eliasrIf @bjoessi is right, it should be a moth sometime next year. Apparently, they live under tree bark for about four years and only come out when it's time to find an overwintering place before their pupation.
