This is very good news: Switzerland has a new law that takes effect starting this year, saying that the Swiss public sector at national level shall publish source code for the software it develops or pays others to develop.
@eliasr Yes, we have talked a lot about how to use this m here in gbg since that #fosdem2024 talk.
@eliasr this is a good idea and should of course be the default.

Why is it that "when folks pay for software they should be able to read it and use it" is a hard concept to sell?
