Brave politicians could have made a difference but the system destroys them.
Still, could have been worse. Could have been the US. (I'm talking about Sweden)
Brave citizens can still create/become brave politicians that can save the system without first burning it down.
Election reform alone can't save it, but might help. In US and UK it sure as heck would help, but Sweden might benefit from e.g. STV too. But more important would be a return to authentic ideology and leadership and an end to triangulation.
