Well lets hope some of that money goes into building independence from the US and not just into buying stuff from US defence companies...
@agowa338 @EUCommission This is the point of the SAFE program - the money from it can only be spent on European weapons. And soon another requirement will enter into force: that at least two states must buy the same equipment in order to use the SAFE money. This helps increase interoperability and ramp up manufacturing volume.
