France, the UK and Turkey will push a plan at the Paris summit to deploy peacekeeping forces in Ukraine, Le Monde reports. The proposal envisions a foreign contingent of 15,000-20,000, possibly up to 30,000 troops. France and Britain would provide most of the forces, with Turkey responsible for Black Sea maritime security. The U.S. would offer logistics and intelligence support under this scenario.
@davep @noelreports 15-30k is not many, but at least someone is willing to provide boots on the ground. I was afraid no one would step up.
