@EUCommission has shown its lack of strategic vision already by the first line in the article: "Adequate wages and quality jobs are essential for economic stability and reducing poverty."

No. That is BS!

We can have advanced automation and socio-economic system where jobs are decoupled from good life. Who wants to have job, should have it. But having job should not be a necessity in the era of advanced automation. That would be like slavery!

@kubofhromoslav @EUCommission You are talking about the future when AI is actually doing most of the jobs. We are not there yet. AI is still underwhelming, robots still don't repair cars nor build buildings, and people still have to work. The parent post is about handling the situation of today: management automation, remote work, subcontracting, company restructuring, etc.

While I agree, I still consider EC's statements lacking strategic vision. They are (unfortunately) still living in a dying paradigm and hardly ever supporting the society to transition to post-job future. I hope that @EUCommission will get it's ambition together. Our change the responsible commissioners.
