To me it seems AI is semi usefull for couple of scenarios.
1.) Science: proteine folding (do not give power and control to the pharmacy industries)
2.) editing, enchanging photos and videos, ripping past artist style and mixing it up unimaginally. (this should not be any priority to national funding but commercial entities in the graphics industries)
3.) Filing the markets with royalty free elevator music, where soul and message has been replaced with statistic based catchy tunes.

@TiKXI @EUCommission I think the rapid AI development is less about what it can do now (most of which is laughable) and more about what it can do in the future.
