The tide has turned for our ocean.
With 60 ratifications, the High Seas Treaty will enter into force in early 2026.
It enables vast marine protected areas, sustainability, and fairness so no country is left behind.
Together with EU nations, we led a coalition of over 40 countries to make this happen.
Now we call on more countries to come on board.
Protecting the ocean is urgent and essential for us, our planet, and future generations.
