Ada class corvette Hetman Ivan Mazepa, constructed in Istanbul, successfully embarked on its first sea trials. Turkey is currently constructing two Ada-class corvettes for the Ukrainian Navy: the Hetman Ivan Mazepa and Hetman Ivan Vyhovsk.
Maybe somebody who knows more can tell me why these corvettes are NOT a waste of money? Won’t they be sunk pretty darn quick by Russia? I would have thought submarines would be much more useful.
