More and more footage from Russian sources coming out of Avdiivka. It is pretty safe to say now that Ukrainian troops have left most positions in the city.

@noelreports It's a good thing. As soon as the casualty ratio stops being favorable, Ukrainians should retreat to better positions. The last thing Ukraine needs is another Bakhmut. The purpose of defense is not to get shredded in a valiant last stand, but to deal so much damage to the enemy that they become vulnerable to counterattacks.
@elgregor @noelreports I completely agree about the casualty ratio. I think they waited too long in this case. Getting circled like that. Very risky.
