@itsfoss I don't want a decentralized WhatsApp killer. I want a decentralized *Discord* killer.
Yes, WhatsApp is owned by Meta and everyone who uses it is zucked. I use Session and Signal (Molly open source client) for my DM needs with family and friends. What I really need is something that can outright replace Discord and presently Matrix clients can't do that because of the little nice to have features. Matrix is usable, but you can customize and organize Discord any way you want.
