@MelissaBearTrix does wearing blue to the funeral count?
Them: "what did you do this weekend?"
Me: *carefully thought out answer detailing what I did that weekend, before returning the question*
Them: "Finally, I never thought you'd asked!"
Please just tell me what you did during the weekend if you're that excited to share, I am happy to listen.
@iamd3ad_un1corn my first reaction is quartz. Two of them smoothed by a river.
@MelissaBearTrix @Eka_FOOF_A people have this weird habit of eating greens raw...
@lauren God's influence is weak*, we need a lot of receivers to filter out noise.
*presumably to protect freewill
@puppygirlhornypost2 @WolvericCatkin I have been reliable informed that people that make car analogies are commonly assholes.
@puppygirlhornypost2 @WolvericCatkin why are you being oppositional?, we seem to argue from the same perspective.
@WolvericCatkin on phone or pc too. Their exist plenty of so called end-user devices in life critical settings.
@WolvericCatkin yes, that is correct. People's choice of software could kill people.
@WolvericCatkin the same way car manufacturers shouldn't prevent you from repairing, or modifying your car. My comparison is still looking pretty good.
@WolvericCatkin okay, how does Apple being shity change my argument? You as an owner should be responsible for what you install on your computer.
@WolvericCatkin their exist nothing preventing you from installing a mail server on a "end-user device".
Their exist nothing not open about installing a giant pole without a flag on a car as well.
@WolvericCatkin you can say the same thing about most things on a car as well.
Allowing a mail server to spread malicious software isn't a good idea.
@neil when I buy a car I should be able to install any parts I want, my car my risk.
Their exist other people on the road, and on the Internet.
@ariaflame @MelissaBearTrix @jackyan they are fortunately illegal to sell here :)
The bigger question is final sales price, cars are commodities they will sale at some price.
A change I have seen is tesla branded cars are more visible, indicating that people are valuing them less*. Most people have more cars then protected parking places, forcing them to reserve them for higher valued cars.
*Might also be that they are more notable given the current circumstance.
@dlakelan you are describing what rule of law is meant to protect against.
You seem to suffer from American exceptionalism, what you're describing are solved problem in most High Income countries.
Look to Europe for inspiration, this is a far better manged problem over here.
@dlakelan I haven't met a cop in months, I still follow the law. And no I don't do it from fear, I don't fear cops. I do it because it's very difficult to break the law, and it comes with little benefit to break it.
Laws are standards of conduct, if people chosen to follow them they rule.
Apply your logic on a parson and you're a monster.
