@exitcode @fdroidorg In 2.0-alpha11, a "Check for updates" menu item has been added. How does that work for you?

@eighthave @fdroidorg where exatly that menu? I think the new option in the settings to never check for updates. But pull-to-check updates is missing

@exitcode @fdroidorg Good to hear! I'd love to see more feedback from users who need "full manual" mode. Replying here is good, posting to gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroidclient is even better (that way we don't lose track of the feedback).

@eighthave @fdroidorg 1. There is no feedback at all when you tap Check for updates. There could be some toast like "No updates available"

@eighthave @fdroidorg 2. Too many taps to trigger Check for updates. It's not on the dafault Discover screen. That's why we need pull-to-check to make it faster. Also available on Discover screen.
