I thought about this more, I agree, we need to keep f-droid up and running and safe, but it would be cool if it was as safe as getting stuff from Play Store, some kind of certification and validation, which would carry same weight
@pleasedodisturb @fdroidorg You're in luck, because the evidence points to F-Droid's default configuration being much safer than Google Play. F-Droid applies many effective measures that Google Play does not, like reviews on source, reproducible builds, publishing and archiving all parts of the process, FOSS-only policy, etc.
