Beware of mentioning accounts in Direct-Messages: If you DM somebody and you mention another fediverse account the message also goes to the mentioned one!

It's very surprising to me and can be socially awkward. A quick fix would be to name the feature "restricted message" or "scoped message" or basically anything else than "direct message" which arguably comes with different UX expectations than what it really does.
