It might be some weird edge cases or I might be thinking about things the wrong way.
An example of where I think it could be good to differentiate would be this Bazaar PR (not mine) for adding a toggle to show mobile friendly apps. This toggle is only being shown to mobile devices based on window size:

Currently, the toggle wouldn't show if the phone is connected to a screen unless the toggle is already enabled.
@radmorecameron That makes sense! Sorry, the instance I'm using appears to be malfunctioning today, I haven't seen your second post with the browser example at the time and then when I saw it I deleted my first post to rephrase it, but it seems like the deletion hasn't been federated (yet?) 😫
