Better late than never: PureOS 11 (crimson) is finally out, catching up with Debian 12 (bookworm) just in time for when bullseye/byzantium lose their extended security support next month. If you're still on byzantium, update ASAP! It's a solid improvement over both byzantium and plain bookworm. ๐งต

Now moving onto the trixie-based PureOS 12 "dawn", which should become usable by early adopters in the coming months ๐
Thank you for your support and patience on the way there ๐ค
@janvlug There are several ways to get there, but pressing the Escape key is probably the simplest one ๐
@dos Cool, I learnt something new!
@dos Thank you Sebastian for all the hard and valuable work you've done to help make this happen!
@dos I have been hesitant to ask a timeframe on Dawn since I know how Purism's been burnt in the past when estimating dates. I won't hold you or anyone to "coming months" but its still great to hear this.
The phone, as it stands today, is running the smoothest and most reliably that it ever has for me. Thank you for this.
@dos Thanks a lot for all your work on this!
How do you manage to show an "empty" screen so that you can see the wallpaper? If I close all apps, I see the icons of the available apps, and the Search apps... box.
I only see the wallpaper sometimes very briefly when opening an app.
