need to run some graphical program over ssh that doesn't support wayland (easily)?
Just do waypipe ssh $target, run gamescope & and then your target program with DISPLAY=:1
honestly so hyped that this works, especially handy for QEMU which also is super broken with fractional scaling
@cas yeah, depends on the client - waypipe's much better at pushing bitmaps around indeed
@dos maybe if you like counting the seconds per frame, X forwarding is literally unusable for me on my pretty crappy wifi
