I feel something has gone very wrong with the world of USB because every USB-C device comes with a dire warning that you must ONLY charge it with the specific six-inch black cable it came with, which looks exactly like eight other six-inch black cables you already have that came with similar warnings, or the device may be damaged beyond use

@0xabad1dea comes down to CE, you need to provide saftey instructions in simple terms. Saying you should only use the cable you include is an easy legal speak with no downsides for the manufacturer vs correctly reciting relevant USB-C specs.

@timonsku I understand, but I never received such a warning for any version of USB before C. therefore I consider this a serious design flaw.
