great news: cinap_lenrek from the 9front project contributed a patch to our version of u-boot that finally gives us a graphical console (and keyboard) in the bootloader on MNT Reform: https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-boundary-uboot/-/merge_requests/12 this will also help with running OpenBSD.

@mntmn FYI we have upstreamed Librem 5 support in u-boot which included some generic imx8mq stuff too and our downstream tree is now just a few small patches on top of mainline u-boot; maybe that's something you'll find useful: https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/uboot-imx/-/commits/upstream/librem5
