told me I'd left my plugged in too long and that was a well-known bad thing. I've heard that’s bad for batteries to be sure. But they are implying its bad for charging circuitry too. That's news to me. They didn't respond to my request for more info.

I see the librem5 as a tiny-battery-life, sporadically-used device. It will be plugged in waiting for the moments where it can be of some use. If purism thinks that's abuse, that crosses my more-trouble-than-its-worth line.

There must have been some confusion somewhere, as there's no such thing. Librem 5 can be safely plugged in all the time.

@dos Thanks for the confirmation. I pretty much suspected as much. Guess I'm just not very lucky with hardware.

I'll continue to leave it plugged in and use it occasionally.
