@linmob Yeah! it's much faster and better!! I had the same issue but reinstaled and wow! Closer to my daily driver everyday! I need mms and Signal to make it my daily driver...
@linmob @Alexmitter By the way, I'm David from twitter... We were talking in DM earlier... π
@linmob @Alexmitter Back to Mobian? π
Another family phone call with the @PINE64 #PinePhone running @mobian went just great β and my mum is not someone who tolerates bad call quality!
We tested both outgoing and incoming calls (for economical, not technical reasons), with headset and without. It did show a 4G indicator on the second call (did not photograph fast enough). Remember how the phone used to get really hot during calls? Not anymore!
Potential deep sleep wake-up timing issues aside, I regard phone calls a solved issue! π
@martijnbraam Haha! me too! Can't wait to keep it in the PinePhone!
@martijnbraam Are you using your Pinephone as a daily driver yet? π

@lupyuen That's a lot of agreements just to rent an iPhone! π
https://puri.sm/posts/your-phone-is-your-castle/ Nice article from @purism ! So true!
@purism β¦and here's a quick Quake II demo using the #librem5 docked via usb-c (audio is from L5's built in speaker) - might be a bit more exciting than running #libreoffice (which also works):
@PINE64 Just ordered mine! Thanks Pine64!
@lupyuen Good! Thanks for the crash course! ππ Really appreciated
@lupyuen So Rust is more a low level? More like for OS's instead of programs or apps? But can we makes apps or programs with Python?
@lupyuen Can I ask you what's the advantages of Rust over Python? I was going to start learning Python and discovered Rust. I'm not sure where to start. I'm new at development and thought maybe you could help me... π
