@carcinopithecus @be what does "white" means in this context? I don't understand why it's here.

@lig @carcinopithecus because of white people's tendency to prioritize how messages are said over acknowledging or discussing the real problems

@be @carcinopithecus I still don't understand the meaning of "white" here. I strongly encourage you to find another word that describes a group of people you have in mind without addressing genetically predefined features.

@lig @carcinopithecus Whiteness is not a genetically predefined feature. Whiteness is a cultural construct.

@be @carcinopithecus white is the color of someone's skin
Find another adjective or you like like a racist for me. Sorry
Disclaimer: I'm not in the US and I was thought on school that racial equality works in any direction and addressing people by color of their skin, any color, is as offending as addressing people by their weight, height, it any other genetically predefined condition.
So, any time I read about "white attitude" I see just another side of racism. Sorry.

@lig @carcinopithecus I don't have time to respond to this any further than saying that reverse racism is not a thing.

@be @carcinopithecus there is no reverse racism as it has no discretion. Again, sorry. I understand you. But I was just raised in a different social context.

@lig @carcinopithecus Racism is a hierarchical relationship of one dominant group over racialized others. It has a direction.
