Wow, how insulting. I don't know what organization you represent, but calling Free Software people "tech bros" is incredibly offensive.
First it assumed that this is about technology and not surveillance and control. Secondly, you're using gendered/sterotype language. Thirdly, it mischaracterizes our concerns- which I explained.
Maybe someone else wants to engage with this kind of rhetoric, but I don't talk with people who are openly hostile or insulting.
@emacsen @blindscribe sorry but how can you get offended by tech bro? You either use it as an insult yourself or you have a small definition of the word. Blindscribe wants to care about FOSS but as they're saying it can be very difficult when the software takes a long time to use and is complicated. Especially for people who tech in general is low on their priority.
