I'm all for inclusive language, but I just learnt the hard way that GitHub has done away with the "master" branch in favour of "main." (I was trying to push to master and getting errors).

That's going to take a bit of unlearning!

@grumpysmiffy I changed my master branch to devel and it's all fine with Gitlab. Does Github require it to be main?

@dean I think it's a question of it defaulting to main when you create a new one. I need to read up on how to rename the default branch to master. If I had only the one repository, I wouldn't worry but, working with multiple repositories, I want to be consistent.
