Hab mich letztes Jahr so sehr über die Gasrechnung geärgert, dass ich seitdem mein Verhalten radikal umgestellt & auch die Wohnung etwas aufgerüstet habe. Ergebnis: Hab meinen Verbrauch fast halbieren (!) können. Putin ärgern, Pro-Level! 🤓

Ich bin Pazifist durch und durch. Allein Pazifismus ist die Kunst Krieg und Gewalt zu verhindern, nicht die Torheit sich nicht zu wehren, wenn man angegriffen wird. Putins Krieg gegen die Ukraine kann man nur dann als ukrainisches Problem betrachten, wenn man Putin das Recht gibt
Mir ist bewusst, dass diese Zeilen den Zorn der Fundamentalromantiker provozieren. Aber deutlich nein, wer dem Nachbarn hilft sein Haus zu löschen ist ebensowenig Brandstifter, wie derjenige Kriegstreiber ist, der dem freien Nachbarn beispringt, dessen Freiheit angegriffen wird.

When someone wants to work/communicate with you, reject their proprietary tools. Provide them with #FOSS tools. I refuse meeting via Zoom or MS Teams. I say "let's meet on our BigBlueButton" or "let's use Jitsi Meet" instead. Or "Let's use Signal rather than WhatsApp"... And "We'll use Rocket.Chat. I won't use Slack or any MS software."... 1/2

Between you and me, this is one of the most frustrating things about working at Mozilla. We spend _years_ busting our asses on privacy, agonizing over minimalist, rigorously anonymized telemetry, making sure it's all transparent and safe and has opt-outs, and the internet screams at us for it anyway. And every other tech company out there responds to the years of research it takes to prove they don't give a shit about any of this with "whoops yeah sorry my bad we'll definitely do something".

Google has been collecting call and messaging data about who you talk to or send text messages to for years. There's no opt-out, no notifcation in their TOS they're doing this, and you can't see the results of that collection in Google Takeout.
